BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby approve the agenda as circulated.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby adopt the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Minutes held November 15, 2023 and the Special Meeting of Council Minutes held November 24, 2023 as circulated.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby support the Credit Valley Conservation Authority 2024 Municipal Levy in the amount of $28,924,793.00; Amaranth’s total share being $1,569.00.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council adopt the report from R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited regarding the 2023 OSIM Bridge Inspections.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council now hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act regarding the following: B03-2023 - 373376 6 th Line, Amaranth (Concession 6 Part Lot 7 RP 7R6131 Part 3)

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now adjourn the Public Meeting held under the Planning Act and resume regular business.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Section 4 of the policy be amended to a 36 month average using a September back analysis.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council award the contract to MacNaughton Hermsen Britton Clarkson Planning Limited (MHBC) to conduct a LEAR study in the amount of $70,365.63 excluding applicable taxes.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council defer the application for a Site Alteration at 475326 County Road 11, Amaranth for an estimated 136,450 Cubic Meters of fill material.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to Lift The Holding (H) Provision From Township Zoning By-Law 2-2009 As Amended By Site Specific Zoning By-Law 17-2004 (“Zoning By-Law 17-2004”) For Part Of The Lands Described As Part Of The East Half Of Lots 2 And 3, Concession 2, Township Of Amaranth (“Subject Lands”); and that it be given the first and second readings.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council of the Township of Amaranth provide written notice to the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex Board to request a review of the agreement for the purposes of updating terms.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council adopt the Asset Retirement Obligation Policy as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council support the 2024 Headwaters Farm Fresh Guide with a $500.00 donation to help cover the costs of updating, printing, distributing and promoting the guide.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council move to a Closed Meeting pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001 , as amended, for the following reasons: Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now rise and report from Closed Meeting.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to Lift The Holding (H) Provision From Township Zoning By-Law 2-2009 As Amended By Site Specific Zoning By-Law 17-2004 (“Zoning By-Law 17-2004”) For Part Of The Lands Described As Part Of The East Half Of Lots 2 And 3, Concession 2, Township Of Amaranth (“Subject Lands”); and that it be given the third and final readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to amend By-Law Number 66-2022 in the Township of Amaranth, in the County of Dufferin Walker Drainage Works Repair and Improvement, 2022 Levying By-law; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to amend Schedule “A” of By-law 2-2009, as amended, be further amended by rezoning the lands described legally as Concession 9, West Part Lot 11 RP 7R810 Part 1 and Part 2, Township of Amaranth, County of Dufferin and known municipally as 283161 County Road 10, from Agricultural (A) and Environmental Protection (EP) to Agricultural Exception (A-99) to as shown on Schedule “A” to this By-law and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to confirm the Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Amaranth for December 13, 2023; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now adjourn to meet again for the Regular Meeting of Council on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. or at the call of the Mayor.
