BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Township of Amaranth receive and endorse the correspondence from NVCA opposing an amalgamation with Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority given no expert analysis has been presented to support such a proposal to move away from watershed-based Conservation Authorities, and that the Township of Amaranth appoint Deputy Mayor Gail Little to vote at a forthcoming meeting that may be called to consider the amalgamation proposal.
