BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby approve the agenda as circulated.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby adopt the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on October 16, 2024 and November 6, 2024 as circulated.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Whereas Giving Tuesday is a national day of giving taking place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024; Whereas Giving Tuesday is a celebration of generosity and volunteerism that encourages residents to give as much as they can, in whatever way that they can; Whereas giving can take many forms, including donating to local non-profits, volunteering your time, giving physical goods or helping your neighbours; Whereas it is fitting and proper on Giving Tuesday to recognize the tremendous impact of donations, volunteerism and community service in the Township of Amaranth; Whereas Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to encourage our citizens to serve others throughout the holiday season and throughout the year; Now, Therefore, the Township of Amaranth proclaims December 3rd to be Giving Tuesday in the Township of Amaranth and encourages all residents to embrace the spirit of generosity that has always strengthened our community by giving to their favourite local charity.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council now hold a Public Meeting pursuant to Section 7(6) of the Ontario Building Code Act , 1992, to consider adopting a new building permit fee schedule

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now adjourn the Public Meeting held under the Ontario Building Code Act and resume regular business.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Consent Application B06-2024 for lands legally described as Concession 2, Part Lot 1 on 7R-6879, Township of Amaranth, BE APPROVED Subject to the following conditions: That the Owner obtain approval of the easement documents and the draft reference plan from the Township and provide the required number of prints and deposited reference plan to the Township. That all conditions be fulfilled within two years of the date of notice of decision where failure to do so will cause the application to be null and void.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council support the exploration of a North Dufferin Fire Service Area as presented by the Township of Mulmur Further that this motion be forwarded to the County of Dufferin and all participating municipalities.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council accept report to Council 2024-074 and approve the Council Meeting Dates as presented for 2025.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council move to a Closed Meeting pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001 , as amended, for the following reasons: Labour relations or employee negotiations - CAO annual performance review, Closed Memo to Council - Roads Positions A position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now rise and report from Closed Meeting.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to Authorize Temporary Uses To Permit Certain Residential Activities On The Defined Lands; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to appoint members to the various Boards, Committees and Authorities in the Township of Amaranth; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to Provide for the Administration and Enforcement of the Building Code Act, 1992, SO1992 c.23 with the Township of Amaranth; and that it be given the first and second readings and be numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to authorize the execution of an agreement between the Orangeville Public Library Board and the Township of Amaranth; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to confirm the Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Amaranth for November 20, 2024; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now adjourn to meet again for the Regular Meeting of Council on Wednesday December 4, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. or at the call of the Mayor.
