BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby approve the agenda as circulated.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby adopt the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council and Special Meeting of Council held on December 13, 2023 as circulated.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council now hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act regarding the following: B01-2024 513297 2nd Line, Amaranth Z01-2024 204297 County Road 109, Amaranth

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now adjourn the Public Meeting held under the Planning Act and resume regular business.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council issue a Letter of Concurrence from the municipality confirming that Stratus Group Inc, on behalf of Rogers Communications, has satisfied municipal requirements for Municipal Consultation and Public Notification in accordance with by-law 61-2013 and objects to proceeding with the construction of the proposed Rogers tower installation at 334233 7 th Line (C9410 – Sideroad 15 and 5 th Line) due to the location of the tower to the proximity of the residence.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council adopt the revised Human Resources Policy Manual HR-09 as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Consent Application B03-2023 for Andrew Kottelenberg regarding Concession 6, Part Lot 7, RP 7R6131 Part 3, known municipally as 373376 6th Line, Amaranth be approved. Subject to the following conditions: That the Owner pay all taxes in full. That the Owner provide a copy of the registered Reference Plan in digital and paper formats for the minor boundary adjustment. That the Owner pay all costs associated with surveys, approvals, legal services and any other transactions pertaining to this application; and That the Owner fulfil all conditions within two years of the date of notice of decision where failure to do so will cause the application to be null and void.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Township of Amaranth proclaims February 22, 2024 as Human Trafficking Awareness Day to raise awareness of the sinister crime of human sex trafficking.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council support a flag raising ceremony in February 2024 for Black History Month to be recognized from February 1 st to February 29 th 2024.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council move to a Closed Meeting pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001 , as amended, for the following reasons: Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board Adoption of Closed Meeting minutes

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now rise and report from Closed Meeting.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to authorize the execution of an agreement between the Orangeville Public Library Board and the Township of Amaranth; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to provide for the levy and collection of rates or levies required for the Township of Amaranth for the interim levy for the year 2024 and to provide for the mailing of notices demanding payment of taxes for the interim levy; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to authorize the borrowing from time to time to meet current expenditures during the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024 for the Township of Amaranth; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law to confirm the Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Amaranth for January 10, 2024; and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as the next sequential number.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now adjourn to meet again for the Regular Meeting of Council on Wednesday February 7, 2024 at 9:00 am. or at the call of the Mayor.
